Message from The Director

DMVIFF's mission is to sustainably develop, unite, discover and enrich the cinema DMV Independent Film Festival is a Washington DC based film festival that represents Artist/Visual arts catering to the D.C/Maryland/Northern Virginia area. We are a non- profit organization devoted to the development and presentation of original stories for the screen and New Screen Media. We provide artists a space to explore their stories either based on/or conceptualized in elation the "DMV" (D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia area). A true meaning of a "Festival for the Filmmakers". This festival gives filmmakers a platform to display barrier free work in any and all reference to the DMV area. As well as uniting the Artists works with an International platform.
